CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST (5)

Responsibilities:
Process product returns and conduct product failure analysis
Ensure a high level of customer service is delivered to all customers
Handle the day-to-day RMA Receiving activities
Work closely with internal departments as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Good written and verbal communication skills, proficient in English
Must work well in an fast-paced environment with dynamic requirements and priorities
Attention to detail and committed to managing problems through resolution
Proficient in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel and Outlook is necessary
Be able to lift 50 lbs
INVENTORY COORDINATOR

Responsibilities:
Compile and maintain records of quantity and type of all inventory
Enter and monitor POs and Invoices and verify for accuracy
Coordinate the receiving and accounting inventory for the products
Monitor incoming and outgoing shipment for proper count of inventory
Work closely with Finance team to complete audit of Inventory on regular basis
Pulling stock for POs for fulfillment
Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies
Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves
Qualifications
Must be exceptionally detailed, and perform job functions with speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up
Experience with Forwarders, Shipping / Logistics, Customs, FedEx / UPS / DHL / USPS is a plus
Proficient with computers, including experience with browser-based software services, spreadsheet software functions and formulas, word processing, and email.

SR. SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain features within the Appliance Manage ability team
Write design specifications for new features related to Systems Management.
Participate in architecture discussions and reviews.
Work with other team members to determine, support, and qualify future requirements.
Support QA and SE on product verification and customer qualifications
Develop software for products in cloud, virtualization, scale-out environments, etc.
Participate in all phases of development cycle.
Analyze and improve system performance.
Interact with customers to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
Develop and review unit test procedures and work closely with QA to develop system integration test plans.
Qualifications
Experience with database systems: Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, and NoSQL ecosystem
Strong networking background (i.e. TCP/IP, Sockets, RPC)

QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER

Responsibilities:
Own the electrical and mechanical engineering for all of UCI's hardware products, including specification, design, qualification and certification
Lead the cross-functional team that takes hardware products to market, including close collaboration with the Product, firmware, QA and Operations groups
Set design processes and standard procedures for new hardware design
Define the hardware architecture for future advanced sensors
Drive the evaluation of performance and quality for new sensor technologies
Set up performance goals for team members, evaluate performance and facilitate professional development
Manage engineering lab including bench test equipment (scopes, spectrum analysers, protocol analysers etc), environmental and EMC chambers, prototype stocks etc.
Qualifications:
BS in Electrical Engineering
10+ years experience leading hardware product development in consumer electronics or other miniaturized electronics domain
5+ years managing direct reports and outside consultants/contractors
Strong understanding of EE fundamentals, and an ability to apply those to digital, analog, power and RF domains
A quantitative approach to design and debug problems
A systems view of the engineering domain - the ability to understand the big picture and apply this understanding to solve real-world problems
Experience designing cost-sensitive, high-volume electronics products from beginning to end
HW design experience with wireless network technologies: preferably Bluetooth and/or Wi-fi
Strong understanding of HW/SW tradeoffs for embedded devices
Working knowledge of regulatory compliance standards, including electrical safety standards and FCC/EMI regulations
Hands-on experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, hardware DVT and manufacturing support
Strong track record of managing cross-functional projects (electronic design, mechanical design, software/firmware, industrial design) to market
Excellent team communication and leadership skills
Strong multi-tasking ability
Thorough understanding of NPI and manufacturing processes, and familiarity with DFM and DFT for high volume products
